Natural Skin Care

It all started when I learned the perils of petroleum based products.  Your skin is not only your body's protector, but also your body's main way of eliminating toxins through sweat. Many people believe that using petroleum based products inhibits your body's ability to eliminate waste through your skin leading to diseases and possibly skin cancer.  While that's a scary thought, it makes a lot of sense doesn't it? 
 
As a make up artist and new mother, I often found myself removing my lip gloss, lipstick, or lip balm just so that I could kiss my son. I realized that I didn't really know what was in those products, nor how it would affect my son's health. If I could avoid exposing him to unnecessary chemicals, why can't I do the same for myself?

And so, Made You Look Natural Skin Care was born! 
 
Unable to find a suitable diaper cream for my son that was petroleum-free and chemical-free, I did some research and decided to make one myself! The all-natural, perfume-free diaper cream worked out beautifully and received rave reviews from mommies!

From there it progressed to made-from-scratch lip balms, that are creamy, rich and smell wonderful!  Even the unscented varieties smell intensly of chocolate because of the all-natural unrefined cocoa butter we use! 

We now have SLS-free soaps, phthalate-free scents, natural clay masks that address aging concerns, acneic skin, and more. Our toners receive rave reviews for being effective and cleansing!

We also just started making 99% all-natural body butters.  There's just under 1% preservatives used, but they are NOT parabens, and are formeldahyde-free!
